Rolling Stones Censor Songs for Clintons.
Martin Scorsese’s concert film about the Rolling Stones, "Shine a Light," is one of the most involving, heart-stopping, accurately filmed accounts of a rock concert ever made. There’s no doubt of that. The movie is so well-directed that you feel like you’re on stage at the Beacon Theater with Mr. Snake Hips himself, Mick Jagger. But — yes, there’s always a but — real Stones fans may notice a couple of changes denote the group all grown up. For this show as presented, Jagger has censored his own songs at least twice. This may be because the show as taped was filmed at the Beacon Theater in October 2006 as part of Bill Clinton’s endless 60th birthday celebrations to raise money for his foundation. Bill, Hillary, Chelsea and, improbably, the president of Poland all are in attendance.

American caught having sex with picnic table.
An American man is facing public indecency charges after allegedly being filmed having sex with a picnic table. Police say that Art Price Jr was seen copulating with furniture on four separate mornings, most recently on March 14 when a neighbour recorded it as evidence. The alleged incident took place near a school in broad daylight in the town of Bellevue in Ohio. The neighbour, who remains anonymous, said he saw Mr Price in his garden turning over a round metal tale before performing a sex act upon it. Local Police Captain Matt Johnson said: "He was completely nude. He would use the hole from the umbrella and have sex with the table." The Opium Brides of Afghanistan .
In the country's poppy - growing provinces, farmers are being forced to sell their daughters to pay loans.
Khalida's father says she's 9—or maybe 10. As much as Sayed Shah loves his 10 children, the functionally illiterate Afghan farmer can't keep track of all their birth dates. Khalida huddles at his side, trying to hide beneath her chador and headscarf. They both know the family can't keep her much longer. Khalida's father has spent much of his life raising opium, as men like him have been doing for decades in the stony hillsides of eastern Afghanistan and on the dusty southern plains. It's the only reliable cash crop most of those farmers ever had. Even so, Shah and his family barely got by: traffickers may prosper, but poor farmers like him only subsist. Now he's losing far more than money. "I never imagined I'd have to pay for growing opium by giving up my daughter," says Shah.

The Curious Lives of Surrogates.
Thousands of largely invisible American women have given birth to other people's babies. Many are married to men in the military.
Jennifer Cantor, a 34-year-old surgical nurse from Huntsville, Ala., loves being pregnant. Not having children, necessarily—she has one, an 8-year-old daughter named Dahlia, and has no plans for another—but just the experience of growing a human being beneath her heart. She was fascinated with the idea of it when she was a child, spending an entire two-week vacation, at the age of 11, with a pillow stuffed under her shirt. She's built perfectly for it: six feet tall, fit and slender but broad-hipped. Which is why she found herself two weeks ago in a birthing room in a hospital in Huntsville, swollen with two six-pound boys she had been carrying for eight months. Also in the room was Kerry Smith and his wife, Lisa, running her hands over the little lumps beneath the taut skin of Cantor's belly. "That's an elbow," said Cantor, who knew how the babies were lying in her womb. "Here's a foot." Lisa smiled proudly at her husband. She is, after all, the twins' mother.

ARUSHA, Tanzania (AP) -- At least 75 miners are missing and believed to have died in tanzanite mines flooded by heavy rains in northeastern Tanzania, a government official said Saturday. A journalist and a mine owner said at least six bodies have been recovered so far. Mine owners reported the 75 men went missing Friday as heavy rains pounded their mines in Mererani, 25 miles southeast of Arusha, said Manyara Regional Commissioner Henry Shekifu. The Tanzanian government is trying to get equipment to the mines to drain the water in hopes of retrieving the men, Shekifu said. Journalist Paul Sarawatt, who is in Mererani, told The Associated Press that he saw six bodies removed from one of the affected mines. About five mines were flooded, said Sey Hassan, who owns one of them.

The singer, who is the most successful female recording artist in history, has earned millions with her new album Hard Candy - even though it does not go on sale until next month. She has signed lucrative contracts with major companies including Vodafone, Unilever and Fuji, which will use her music to sell products from hairspray to mobile phones. The deals, which involve more than half the tracks on the album, have not only earned the London-based mother of three a not-so-small fortune, they will ensure her album receives free global publicity ahead of its release. Madonna's deal with Vodafone means the network's customers will be able to listen to seven tracks one week before the album's worldwide release on April 28. It is the first time an artist has launched an album on a mobile phone.

College student missing almost two months.
MIDDLEBURY, Vermont (AP) -- The more the snow melts, the more the mystery deepens: What happened to Nicholas Garza? The disappearance of the 19-year-old Middlebury College freshman -- missing since he walked out of a dormitory February 5 -- continues to puzzle searchers, with no trace of him on campus, no suggestion he left and no indication of foul play. On Thursday, for the first time in more than a month, a large-scale search was conducted using dozens of Vermont State Police members and search experts, but it turned up nothing. The hope had been that the gradual disappearance of the snow pack could end the uncertainty. Tom Scanlon, a police spokesman, said searchers would try again in two weeks.
