Witness reports hearing officers scream: `Put down the knife, put down the knife!'
Two police officers and a man were taken to hospital last night after a shooting in a park near Yonge St. and Davisville Ave.
The man had life-threatening bullet wounds to the torso. It's not known what injuries the officers had but they were able to drive themselves to hospital.

Freddie Highmore plays twins Jared and Simon, and Simon, like the late Arthur, can see and talk to magical creatures (courtesy of CGI). Though not quite at the “Harry Potter” level, this is a fun film that adults and kids will enjoy, though it might be too scary for really young kids. Save it for a matinee.

A mother said she was "stunned" to discover pornography on a new mobile phone she bought at Woolworths.
Sandra Bamlet, from Darlington, was taking pictures of her dogs with her new Samsung handset when she came across the graphic images.
The 59-year-old had bought the phone for £39.99 at the Woolworths store in Northgate, Darlington and was surprised to find it was already fitted with a SIM card.
The electronics company Samsung said they would replace the phone and launch an inquiry to find out how the images got there.
Mrs Bamlet said: "I was stunned, actually. It was just a phone I opened as brand new. I was taking pictures of the dogs and they just came up. I'm not really into mobiles. It was just a little cheap one - I don't like advanced ones." read more - Channel 4 News
